Mansfield state police did not release the suspect’s name but say a 36 year old Wellsboro woman is facing charges of harassment with physical contact for an incident allegedly taking place between 11:00 pm last Wednesday and midnight at a home on Wetmore Street in Wellsboro. The victim is listed as a 38 year old Wellsboro man.

Troopers at Coudersport are investigating an ID theft and a burglary. Unknown crooks used  Ulysses resident Thomas Williams’ personal information over the past month to try apply for a loan in multiple credit cards. Someone entered a home at 122 Union Street Shinglehouse through a back door  last Sunday morning but fled in an unknown direction.  Anyone with information regarding the 8:00 am incident is asked to call state police at 814.274.8690.

Apparently no one was hurt in a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle Tuesday morning in Covington Township, Tioga County. State  police at Mansfield did not release details but report the collision occurred when the operator of a Harley Davidson FXR began to turn right into Eisenhauer Harley Davidson on Main Street in Covington Township and the driver of the Nissan who was traveling behind, applied his brakes but clipped the right side of the motorcycle causing to go off the road and slide for a short distance before stopping.  Police did not reveal the names or addresses of those involved as it may have been a “non-reportable” collision since there were no injuries or property damage and the vehicles could be driven from the scene.
